Communities need community spaces! Leonora's community space was established through community discussions and conferences. As a team, Green Dupatta and Leonora locals turned our jointed vision into a reality!

community programs

The centre in Leonora is open for community members to facilitate and participate in programming of their choice. Green Dupatta provides assistance and guidance in terms of program choice and development, however we believe that it is up to community members to decide what programs would benefit them the most.


In addition to being used as a space for meetings, religious and social functions the centre has had a variety of seasonal and ongoing programs.

To ensure that the effect of your donations are maximized we always use local contractors and repair/reuse as many materials are we can!

We repaired and repainted all the unused benches and desks until they were good as new!
